Envelope Addressing

This is no average piece of mail!

Make your wedding memorable from the first impression with a beautiful handwritten guest address that lives up to the beauty of what is inside of them.

Katherine is amazing! Her attention to detail throughout the process was above and beyond. Katherine doesn't just focus on the calligraphy but also makes sure we had everything on the guest list laid out properly, names were spelled correctly, provided guidance on best practices for proper titles etc. It was the full experience and she worked wonderfully with our wedding planner as well which made it even more seamless.

  • This is one of my favorite "did you know" stories!!

Inner envelopes date back to when invitations were delivered by a footman on horse. ⁣

Dust and mud would often damage the envelope in transit. ⁣

Once delivered, the outer envelope would be removed and a household attendant would deliver the pristine inner envelope containing the invitation to whom it was addressed. ⁣⁣⁣

Many couples continue to use both as part of traditional invitation etiquette!⁣ You can be as personal as you want with guest names, with formal titles on the outer⁣ envelope and first names or even nicknames on the inner envelope.

  • Yes! After confirming, I send you a copy of my etiquette guide. Using this is completely at your discretion and meant for informational purposes if you would like to follow it!

I also have a variety of examples for how to address individuals (situational, federal officials, religious leaders, etc) so if there is something specific you need help with, I am happy to assist.

  • Once your contract and 50% deposit are in place, I will send you an address template as well as an etiquette guide for you to reference!

  • At this time, I do offer envelope calligraphy to couples who used a different stationer for their invitations.
